During Akagawa's Fireworks Festival, pyrotechnicians from all across the country come to compete and display their newest skills in a flamboyant show that lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes. In 2014, Akagawa's Fireworks Festival got ranked at the 10th place in the top 100 Japanese fireworks according to Yahoo Fireworks.

There are paying and free seats.
We advise you to reserve a paying seat early if you want to attend the show as the free space rapidly gets full on the day of the show (free seats are available according to a first-come-first-served basis. No reservation possible for free seats).
